Jordan was a former friend of twins Lynn and Tanner Lockhart and Elijah Barker. It was obvious that she was a bad influence when she brought two bottles of alcohol to the twins' unsupervised party. We soon found out she had a lot of losses in her life, including the death of her oldest brother, EJ, who was killed in the line of duty, her other brother, Presley, left home for a seminary in Missouri, and her parents became distant. She soon formed an attraction to Tommy, despite him becoming close to Tanner. During the summer, when Tanner went away to a music program in Boston, the two got closer when he invited her to his brother's wedding. She drunkenly kissed him, knowing deep down he wanted her just as much as she wanted him. Around the same time, she started pursuing modeling, but without much luck. Jordan soon built an unlikely friendship with Tricia, despite being the twins' stepmother. She invited her to come to her wedding in Oahu, with Tanner and Tommy also in attendance. After an argument between the couple over Tommy's reveal of the kiss from the previous summer, he showed up at Jordan's hotel room door, and the two soon had sex. 

Jordan later discovered she was pregnant, initially confiding in Tricia. When she told Tommy, he wanted her to get an abortion since he wasn't ready to be a father and had gotten back together with Tanner. After months of hiding her pregnancy, she finally told her parents. Her father kicked her out of the house for refusing to name the father of her baby. She stayed until she received custody papers from the Covingtons, who wanted to take her baby after birth. With help from Tommy and Tricia, she spent the duration of her pregnancy in a house in White Oak. With Tricia by her side, Jordan gave birth to a baby boy in the nearby birthing center. However, Daniel was able to locate her using his PI. But tragedy struck when the baby stopped breathing and had to be medevaced to the hospital. It was discovered that the baby needed a life-saving procedure to repair a hole in his heart, which was a success. 

Jordan, who was struggling with post-partum depression, decided to leave the baby in Tommy's care. Fearing she would hurt him, she left for King's Bay, Washington, for the foreseeable future.
