Deciding to be more helpful around the apartment on what is the first day of being off work at the café. Tricia Meyer had popped down to one of the only two supermarkets in Radcliffe, Kentucky. She could not remember the last time that she went grocery shopping. When she was a flight attendant, she practically came home to an empty refrigerator.
Tricia is carrying in a total of five bags consisting of food and other household items too when she enters into the apartment on the fourth floor that she resides in with her beau.
She is about to shout out to Sean before she spots him having an informal conversation on his cellphone. Tricia goes into the small kitchen to put down the bags and her purse on the granite counter. She goes over to Sean Lockhart, who is regularly pacing as he is listening attentively to whoever is on the other line. The next statement coming out of his mouth makes her pay strict attention to him.
"Talk to you later, Louise," he says.
He presses the end call feature on his smartphone ending the call.
Doing her best not to come off like a green-eyed monster, Tricia flashes her best "everything's fine" smile.
"Let me guess, you were speaking to Louise," she points out.
Sean puts both of his hands in his pants pockets. "Yeah, I wanted to know how Tanner was getting on at Berklee," Sensing his girlfriend wanted to know why exactly he was speaking to his ex-wife.

Tricia crosses her arms. "I think your daughter has a modern made invention called an iPhone," it can text and receive calls she says facetiously.
She did not know why he had to be in constant contact with his ex-wife.
"Stop this,"
"Stop what?" she asks rhetorically.
He warmly puts one of his hands upon her arm.
"Louise and I are doing our best co-parenting the girls in two different homes."And don't forget I work for her family in you case you forgot."
Tricia put some loose strands of her hair out of her face. "It is, and I am glad you told me about you two taking Tanner to the airport."

The other day Sean and Louise were able to put aside their issues so they can be together to say goodbye to their daughter who they dropped off at the airport. Tricia knew however with them still working together she will still be insecure of them of all the years and memories they have shared.
Sean can get a good glimpse of Tricia standing in front of him with her impressive curves.
"This afternoon is about us," he remarks candidly.
"What do you have in mind?" she asks.

Sean inches closer to his lover he slides the spaghetti straps of her black slip dress with white polka dots down her shoulders,
"Oh I see," she replies in between kissing him feverishly
Sean scoops her up in his arms as their lips continue to touch one another as they head into their bedroom to have sex.

THE CHATEAU
Amongst the customers dining in for their lunch away from the office is Courtney Covington. She is sitting alone at a table where she has snatched a few glances of CNN on the flat-screen TV behind the bar and looking down at her phone. Earlier this morning Shauna had come up to her office to invite her to have lunch. However, she suspects that her soon to be sister-in-law wants something from her and for the life of her she can't even think what that might be.
Seven minutes later, the host escorts Shauna Jackson to the table. She is wearing a greenish-blue sequin camisole with black pants, and her past-shoulder length dark hair is in a ponytail. Taking a seat across from Courtney the host gets their requests for food and drink and takes off.
"Bet you are wondering why I wanted to speak to you over lunch huh?" Shauna says with a hint of nervous energy.
"Thought crossed my mind once or twice," Courtney answers back.
"Since it is only the two of us, I want to know do you really love my brother because if you don't, there is still time to save face before you walk down the aisle Shauna," Courtney adds

UNIVERSITY CENTER BUILDING: APT # 303
Antoine Hall found himself standing in the hallway outside of Nichelle's place on the third floor in the apartment building on the campus of Sampson University.
As much impatience, he possesses he could not let things between him and her go unsettled.
He hadn't heard from her since Shauna and Max came into The Waterfall to announce they're getting married in less than a month. Antoine didn't hide his true feelings about the woman he loves marrying someone else. Nichelle instantly figured it out and told him when he was ready to talk come look for her and that is why he has come.

Antoine grasps the brass door knocker to make his presence known.
About ten seconds later, the door is swung open by Nichelle Austin who seems surprised to see him.
"Hey," she says in a reasonable tone voice.
"Uh, hey, did I catch you at a bad time?"
She looks behind her shoulder then focuses her view back on him. "No, come on in,"
Antoine follows behind his lover into the apartment which normally is clean and tidy but looks as if it has been hit by a hurricane. A few suitcases our open with items of clothing and cardboard boxes filled with various stuff on the floor.
Nichelle gestures for Antoine to sit on the sofa and she takes a seat in the chair nearby.
Antoine claps his hands together whilst looking around the room. "That roommate of yours finally moving out?" he gathers.
It is no secret Nichelle barely tolerates living with her dentist roommate who often has her mechanic boyfriend spend the night catering catfish and fried chicken dinners to earn extra money. The only reason why they have managed to continue living together is that she is never late on rent.
Nichelle bites down on her lower lip before answering. "I am leaving Radcliffe,"
THE CHATEAU
The Covington heiress stirs her straw in the glass before taking a sip of the beverage. She somehow is getting to believe Shauna's words about not betraying her brother.
"After our mother died, Max was lost, that is why he went to work aboard that cruise ship for six months." So when he moved to Radcliffe last year I felt, in the beginning, he wanted to go traveling around the world again to escape losing her."
Shauna takes a drink of her tea. "Then what change?"
Courtney can't believe she is about to admit this. "You came into his life, and I remember you two couldn't stand one another when you first met somehow though you got him to put his defenses down."
Shauna could sense that this is the first time she has ever told anyone this including her boyfriend whom she has been dating for a year now.
"I did want to ask you something, but it's cool if you turn me down wouldn't blame you at all."
"Lay it on me," Courtney says agreeably
"Will you be in my wedding party as a bridesmaid?" Shauna inquires simply
The host arrives with their food.
"Yes I will be a bridesmaid, who knows maybe we can use this chance to become good friends," Courtney replies positively.
"Good, because I am starving now," Shauna concludes.
"Now that you mentioned it I am too." Courtney remarks.

Antoine does not shield his puzzled expression upon his face, "If this is about ---
Nichelle's scoffs and head shake cut off the rest of his statement. "Don't get cocky okay, my moving away has little do with you, "
"I deserve that," he replies
She continues looking at her former boyfriend.
"Remember when I told you when we were getting to know each other I wanted to work a civil rights attorney?" she says it in a way that she half expects him not to remember it.
"I do," he truthfully admits.
"One of my professors from law school reached out to one of the biggest civil rights firms in the country who were looking for some recent graduates to work as law clerks I got the job." she excitingly informs him.

As much as Antoine is happy for her he wants to know, if he didn't show was he going to be told this information.
"So where is this job at anyway?" Antoine inquires
"Washington D.C, yeah it all happened so fast, between getting things situated and my dad is driving down from Detroit to help me move before I start my job." I was going to stop by the bar later on to tell you,"
Antoine rises from the couch. "I'm sorry for the way it all worked out."
"Were you just using me to get over Shauna or was it just for the sex?" Because I felt like I was being used Antoine." she strongly vocalizes
Antoine shrugs at the question being at aimed at him not wanting to confirm it aloud. "Didn't mean to make you feel like you were being used Nichelle,"

The atmosphere in the air starts to feel overwhelming for Antoine, so he got on his feet sensing he should be leaving.
"Like I said before Nichelle, didn't mean for it to go down like it did."
Nichelle trails him into the foyer watching him about to leave the apartment one last time.
"I don't wish you any ill will Antoine, but do you want to continue to be infatuated with a woman who does not want you besides you can do so much more with your life."

Antoine strolls out of the residence. "Like what?"
"You'll figure it out, have a nice life, Antoine," Nichelle tells him.
"You too Nichelle,"
She closes the barrier between the two of them, ending their courtship.
WHEELER BUILDING: APT # 424
In their queen-size bed post-coital, Tricia plants a smooch on Sean's naked torso.
"We needed that," Tricia declares
"Now that is something I can agree with," he comments. "How about we spend the rest of the day in public?"
Tricia's eyes gleam with eagerness. "I say I -- like that idea very much."
A completely naked Sean gets out of bed to head to the bathroom to take a shower and then get to change so they can leave in about thirty minutes.
Tricia lays there in near bliss for a few minutes until the familiar chime of an incoming text from Sean's iPhone makes her turn over in bed to quench her curiosity of who is messaging him.
She reads the message that is displayed on the screen of the phone.
Glad we're finally able to see eye to eye. Next time dinner will be my treat.
She checks who is the sender of the text, and it makes her frown with disgust when she notices it is Louise.
Much as she wants to tear out of the bedroom to go confront Sean about the when and the why he had dinner with his ex-wife, she decides to keep it to herself well for now at least.
