HOTEL CLIFFE: ROOM 505
Wrapped in a white bath towel, Sean Lockhart is staring at himself in the foggy mirror courtesy of the steamy shower he just got out of in the bathroom in his room at the Hotel Cliffe.
He begins to notice his unshaven face with mostly pepper hair albeit sprinkles of salt. He too also sees the excess weight of belly fat. The unwanted pounds were the cause of not working out as much and eating take out most nights.
He grabs his razor to beginning shaving. Minutes later his face were recognizable to him again. And well for the extra weight he put on he'll handle that later. As he steps foot into the rest of the suite, it makes him miss having a family.

Although, he does not miss being married to his ex-wife since he wasn't happy in the marriage for a long time now.

Sean locates his iPhone on the bed. He dials a familiar number.
Five long rings.
"Hey, Pretty Princess." Sean greets his daughter.
"Dad, hey, what's going on?"

Sean feels bad about not checking in on his twin daughters as he promised them.
"I was thinking maybe you, Lenny, and I can go grab a burger."
He takes the sudden silence as an automatic no.
"Dad, I would love that, but Lenny is taking an ACT prep course after school, and I'm babysitting SJ and Evan at Grandma and Grandad's," she explains.
Feeling dejected Sean tells her he'll catch up with them in a few days which Tanner responded positively.
At least he was given a flat out no like he would've gotten a few weeks ago.
Tossing the phone back onto the bed he looks down at his gut. "I need to go run some laps in the pool."
Sean grabs his stuff to go downstairs to the pool to begin working on his fitness again.

BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, RADCLIFFE, KENTUCKY
In a cab along Bridgeport Avenue, a twenty-something college student driver couldn't help but keep looking in the rearview mirror facing the backseat where his latest passenger is sitting behind the glass partition. Her beautiful luscious lips, her shoulder length brown hair with a tinge of blonde, the black dress showing off her sexy legs and her beautiful brown eyes.
"Should you be focusing on the road ahead." the woman in her early thirties says cunningly.
The driver chuckles nervously. "I like the view that's behind me much better."
The woman crosses her legs. "If you want my fare then please look away thank you." she smiles with a sense of wickedness.
Those words sting enough for the driver that he did exactly that for the rest of the entire ride.

Meanwhile, the woman wished that this part of the state offered Uber or Lyft. Instead of this middling taxi-cab company that she had no other option to take to get to her destination.

HOME FARM

Tommy Covington couldn't believe that today was the day he has been doing his best to prepare himself for. He hadn't even thought that his driving test would go so quickly. A woman in her late forties with a mole on the side of her mouth was the Proctor. At first, he was nervous maintaining the vehicle out on the streets.
However, by the time he was required to parallel park he had gained enough confidence to do well. When they had gotten back to the DMV parking lot. The woman informed him that he passed his driving test. At first, he couldn't believe it but by the time he got his license he knew that it wasn't a dream.
When the driver took him in the limousine back to Home Farm not only he was surprised that his father was outside but what he is standing by made him even more curious as he got out of the car.
"Believe it or not I'm officially a licensed driver dad."
Wearing a bright navy blazer, with a collared shirt and slacks he nods slightly. "I know," he then tips his head to the driver still sitting in the driver's seat of the limo.
Tommy takes that as that is how he got his information.
"Bet you're surprised that I passed on the first try?"
Daniel's expression upon his face doesn't show any skepticism like Tommy thought it would.

"You're a Covington we're all determined to get what we want."

Tommy takes another notice at the other object that his father is standing by. A dark red 2019 Lexus GX 460 truck is in front of the mansion.
"Dad, did you get a new car to add to your collection?"
Daniel has been known to buy cars to add to his extensive car collection.
He chortles. "No, because I'm giving you this as a way to say that I know that since you left boarding school, we hadn't spent much time together. I know this can't make up for it, but it's a start son."

Daniel gives him the keys which he gets in the driver's seat. As he takes in the luxury interior, his father is telling him all about the features including a new stereo system with Bluetooth.
Tommy turns the key to start the engine which roars perfectly.
"Thomas, take it easy out there, stay safe." Daniel cautions him.
"Dad, thanks," Tommy says respectively.

Tommy steers the truck down the driveway.

Daniel stands there missing his late wife Keri beside him to witness their youngest offspring on his way to becoming a responsible young man.
FRANKLIN FARM: MAIN HOUSE
It took Tanner Lockhart about five minutes to get her infant cousin off to sleep in his crib. She then makes a mental note to herself that if she has to hear the Baby Shark Dance song again, it'll be too soon.

Her aunt Martha had asked her via text to babysit SJ this morning since she decided to go into work for an unscheduled afternoon shift at The Waterfall. Tanner would have to watch Evan as well because of her grandparents went over to a friend's house whilst Steven has some of his own plans this evening as well. So after school, she drove out to the farm to watch both boys until Martha gets off in an hour or so.
Tanner walks downstairs into the living room where she sees her cousin Evan Sullivan sitting on the couch with a deck of Uno cards.
"Can we play now Tanner?" Evan asks
She had promised him that they could play before SJ needed to be put down.
"Yeah, you can deal first."
Evan enthusiastically does what he is told. The two begin playing , and so far Tanner had fewer cards in her hand.
But Evan was determined to win.
The doorbell rings which makes Tanner get the door. She is taken back on who is on the other side.
Tommy Covington smirks at her. "Hey,"
Tanner crosses her arms onto her chest. "Uh, how did you know that I was here?"
"You told me that you were coming over here at lunch."
Tanner recalls that she did mention that she was going to her grandparents' house after school. She lets him in the house hoping she isn't breaking the rules of letting anyone in the house. however, her grandparents tend to have an open-door policy.
Evan looks up from his cards to see someone he hadn't seen before which she takes into account.
"Tommy this is Steven's son Evan, Evan this is Courtney's brother Tommy." she introduces the two of them.
The two boys acknowledge one another by greeting the other. Tanner tells Evan to go into the kitchen to get a snack which he does with no protest.
Tanner taps her forehead. "I just remembered you had your driving test after school so how did it go?"

Tommy takes a long deep breath."About that ---
"You failed?" don't worry about we will practice until you pass," she assures him.
Tommy digs for something in the pocket of his hoodie taking out his driver's license.
"I had you going didn't I?" Tommy points out
"You did," Tanner admits
Tommy's mouth closes before it flares open again.
"I would not have passed if it wasn't for you, I just came over here to tell you thanks."
"Well, you're welcome," Tanner says back to him.
Tommy bridges the moment by wrapping his sturdy arms around her. Tanner takes in the fabric softener and boy sweat which makes her hug him a little longer then she should've.

THE CHATEAU
For Steven Sullivan, this evening was getting off to a good beginning. He had managed to get a last-minute reservation at The Chateau for himself and Courtney. In addition, the outdoor patio was finally open after being closed during the winter. Knowing that the two of them needed alone time since he has been working at the animal clinic as well as having his hands full with taking care of his son whilst he is on spring break. In a few days, he'll be taking him back to Orlando to be with his mother who is still recovering from being in a serious car accident.
The waitress takes their menus after they order their appetizers and entrees. They're sitting down at a table with a view of the street underneath the sky with the sun shining down.
"I must say you're looking stunning," Steven says to his younger girlfriend who is wearing an emerald green one-shoulder ruffle dress.
Courtney expresses her gratitude of the compliment. She then reaches for the bottle of champagne chilling in the ice bucket in the center of the table.
"I say we propose a much-needed toast."
She fills the flutes before giving her boyfriend one of them and keeping the other in her possession.
"I know what we can toast to," Steven says. He picks up his glass. "To not let so much time get in our way of re-connecting with each other."
"And to be more understanding of our lives together and apart." Courtney finalizes the toast.
They clink their glasses together.
FRANKLIN FARM: MAIN HOUSE
The pair lets go of one another like some sort of spell is reversed.
"I'll let you get back to babysitting." were the first thing Tommy says
He walks closer to the door. "I forgot to tell you that my dad got me a new car too."
"Really that's great Tommy."
"Yeah, about that hug I've been wanting to do that for a while now, talk to you later. "
Tommy walks out of the house which Tanner puts together that he perhaps might have a thing for her too. She stares out of the window looking at him climbing into his SUV. He turns out of the pathway back onto the main road.
Evan comes out of the kitchen with a juice box. "You didn't look at my cards when I was gone did you?"
Tanner turns around to face her cousin. "No sir let's get back to playing."

HOTEL CLIFFE: ROOM 505
As Sean returns from downstairs at the pool where he swam his ass off. Not remembering the last time he has felt this good. Ignoring the fact that in he will be awakened by sore muscles in the morning.
He uses his hotel key to let himself back in his room.
Stunned at the exact sight in front of him, a woman in black lace lingerie with a G-string leaving a little imagination is lying in his bed.

"We got to stop meeting like this," she says seductively.
"What on earth are you doing here?" Sean inquires
Tricia Meyer inches closer to him on the bed."Damn, here I thought I would be welcome in more ways than one."
Sean is surprised to see his longtime mistress and lover here in his room. The last time he talked to her she told him that she had a two day trip on the West Coast. He wouldn't think she would show up in Radcliffe of all places.
"Wait how did you get in here?"
Tricia chuckles. "Let's just say that I was able to use my wit with the guy at the front desk down in the lobby, he was nice, unlike this dumbass cab driver who was trying to hit on me."
"Do I have to beat this dumbass up for you?" Sean says with a hint of humor.
"No," she whispers.
The strong sexual desire overcomes them as they start kissing each other whilst Tricia takes off his shirt at first Sean feels self-conscious about his weight gain yet she didn't seem to mind when her eyes meet his physique. The two of them fall onto the bed where they proceed to have sex.
