PARADISE HOTEL - OAHU, HAWAII
Yesterday, Sean and Tricia, along with the twins, Tommy, Courtney, and Steven, made the twelve and a half-hour plane ride from Radcliffe to Oahu. The trip included a two-hour layover in Dallas. And when they finally did get to the hotel. Most of them were too tired to venture out of their rooms. So when the sun came out the next morning of the ceremony, most of the group went downstairs to one of the hotel restaurants to have breakfast before they all have to get ready for the wedding.

"Sorry, Uncle Johnny couldn't make it, dad," Tanner Lockhart tells her father.
"It's all right, Pretty Princess. I'm sure your grandparents will be thrilled by the news," Sean says
All of them were sitting down at a table in the restaurant where they're consuming their food. Yesterday Sean got word his younger brother Johnny who was supposed to be his best man, came down with food poisoning sighting it on his longtime girlfriend Diana friend's cooking in which they had the night before. Other than the twins' Sean didn't have any other family who made it down here. His parents are still aren't keen on their son marrying his mistress partially on their Catholic faith and the rest on not wanting to get to know the woman he has chosen to spend the rest of his life with,

"Looks like Uncle Johnny had the right idea," Lynn Lockhart mumbles in which Steven, who is sitting across from her, hears and chuckles softly to himself since the two aren't keen on attending the wedding of them not caring for the bride.
Courtney takes a sip of her green tea smoothie. "Well, the most important thing is you two on this day."

A couple of minutes later, Tricia Meyer, who walks into the restaurant, sees where everyone else is and goes to them.
"Hey, where you been?" Sean inquires
Tricia Meyer puts both hands on her hips. "Turns out, we have a guest who decided to join us after all."
The rest of them are curious as to who will be in attendance.

Suddenly Jordan McKnight saunters into the eatery with her trademark poise.

"Oh joy," Lynn says sarcastically.
Tanner remains silent as Tommy takes a drink of his orange juice. Part of him wishes she never came here, but the side of him who is attracted to her isn't mad.
Jordan then gives a slight wink to the object of her affection.
JOJO'S CAFE
My Ex's Best Friend by Machine Gun Kelly featuring Blackbear is currently on the stereo system inside of the café this afternoon. Samuel Gupta and Max Covington are at the table near the large window overlooking Main Street. The two men got to know each other during Daniel's surprise birthday party. Another thing in common they have is Daniel and Samuel's mother, Mala, who are seeing one another. And at the party, he was told by Sean Lockhart, his mother's new lover conspired against his own daughter by bringing in her boyfriend's former wife to seduce him to break them up. That alone made him suspicious of Daniel and which is why he wanted to talk with Max to get to the bottom of it.

"How does it feel to have your photos in a gallery in New York City?" Samuel converses
"Honestly, it still doesn't feel real to me," Max remarks humbly.
Last month his work was featured in the Soho Photo Gallery in his hometown of New York City. Since then, he has been in talks with his agent for another commission.

"Are you close to your father?" Samuel inquiries
Max laughs. "Define close? Are you working on a research article on the Father Complex because, if you're, I'm sure my father and I can give you plenty of material to cover,"
Despite the two of them getting along for the foreseeable future, years of disconnect between the Covington men still have not been resolved.
"I'm just going to come out and say it is it true your father tried to become your sister and her boyfriend?"
THE CHATEAU
Contemporary jazz music fills the atmosphere in the dining room of The Chateau. Daniel Covington and his significant other Mala Gupta are having lunch. It had been a while since the two of them got to be alone since work takes most of their time.
"Are you still loving having a full house?" Mala questions while drinking a glass of white wine.
Daniel's mother, Deirdre, and his sister Emma are presently staying at the mansion. Daniel has been pleasantly pleased with his family all under one roof since it has been years since that was a reality.
"I still do, but I have forgotten having two women with larger than life personalities," he answers.
"Try being in the same room for twenty minutes with my mother, sisters, and aunts; trust me, you would truly see larger than life personalities."

Daniel cuts into his medium-well steak. "Well, maybe one day I get the chance to meet them." He sees Mala tensing up at his statement. "I know we hadn't been together that long --
Mala interjects. "No, it's not that at all It is something I've been thinking about doing for some time now."
"Which is?" Daniel analyzes her
"I've contacted my attorney. I am filing for divorce,"

Daniel takes a sip of his red wine before responding.
Mala and her husband Jai have been separated for five years now.
"Yes, I'm ready to move forward with my life, and me still being legally married is preventing me from that."
"Letting go is never easy," he says pensively.
"But it needs to be done," Mala declares.
PARADISE HOTEL
"You look amazing," Courtney compliments her friend.
She, Tricia, Lynn, Tanner, and Jordan all are getting ready in Steven and Courtney's hotel room.
Tricia Meyer inspects her overall appearance in the mirror in the fairly lite bathroom.
Her makeup was present, but it was subtle. Her shoulder-length brown hair is in an updo. Her dress is an ivory satin slip gown with a soft cowl neckline.
"Thanks, you two, for helping me out. I truly appreciate it,"

Jordan grabs her iPhone off the counter of the sink. "We should be getting downstairs soon."
A car is taking everybody to the beach where the ceremony is taking place.

Outside of the bathroom, Lynn and Tanner are standing beside each other.
"I don't know how long I can stand to be in the same room with Tricia and Jordan," Lynn announces
"
Join the club. I can deal with Tricia, but Jordan, who knew she and Tricia were such good friends?" Tanner interjects
"Making other people miserable sometimes requires two people,"

Tanner is glad Tommy isn't here and already went to the beach with Steven and Daniel. Or Jordan would've been shamelessly flirting with her boyfriend in front of her.
Lynn is about to say something else before she hears everyone else coming out of the other room.
"It's time we get this one down the aisle," Courtney says excitedly. She as, the maid of honor, is wearing the same color of the sage green the twins are wearing as bridesmaids.
Tricia is beaming, which isn't normal. For the usual headstrong woman.

"Tricia, you look nice," Lynn compliments genuinely
The bride is taken-aback at hearing that from one of her biggest detractors. "You do too, both of you do," she says meaningfully to the twins.

The five ladies get everything they're leaving out with, Soon their heading to the elevator to go down to the lobby to get in the vehicle. When they get on, Tanner does not miss Jordan offering her a smirk. Tanner was too tired to decipher its meaning, but she knows one thing She is not going to let her ruin her trip, even if it's to witness her father marrying another woman she doesn't care for,

JOJO'S CAFE
When Max took Samuel's offer to meet him at Jojo's. He did not expect to be asked about his father's past nefarious deeds.
"Where did you hear this from?" Max puts forward.
"Does it matter?"

"No, it doesn't," he replies. "My dad did conspire with Steven's ex-wife Lorraine to break he and Courtney up." In exchange, he would get her an audition to a ballet company."
"Why?" Samuel asks
Max further summarizes Daniel, not wanting his only daughter to be involved with someone close in age to him. And how his deception eventually came out with Courtney and he having falling out, which made her temporarily move out of Home Farm to a suite at the Miller Inn. Yet the two were able to make up, and since then, their father has been more tolerable when it comes to them dating.
Samuel takes a drink of his coffee. "I thought my mother was overprotective,"
"She has nothing on Daniel Covington, but he hasn't done anything outlandish as that in a long time. "
"You think my mom should be concerned?"
"I met your mother the other night at the party, but something tells me she isn't the one who would put up with my dad's domineering ways if they get out of control."
Samuel takes another sip of his coffee, beginning to mull over his theory.

WAI'ALAE BEACH PARK
Sean is awaiting for Tricia and the rest of the wedding party to arrive on the beach, standing near the justice of the peace. Glad so far, everything came together on this day. The sun is shining, warmth, but not muggy. Two rows of white chairs were laid out for the guests to sit and also take in the view of the water. He must say he is feeling good at this moment.
As the others were getting ready to take their place to come down, Jordan takes a seat purposefully behind Tommy, who is wearing a suit in her opinion, looks good on him.

"Hey," she greets him enthusiastically.

"Had enough of Radcliffe?" he asks half-jokingly
"Something like that," she says coyly.
She can tell she was turning him on seeing the intense way he is staring at her. More than satisfied that she had chosen a silver sequin strappy max dress with a slit.
When Tommy is about to say something else. Music from the wireless speaker gets all of their attention to stand out of their seats.
Tanner is the first one walking on the sand to the bridal arch, where Sean and the justice of the peace. By the time she reaches the designated area. She smiles at her boyfriend in which he returns.
Soon Lynn follows and is doing her best by not wanting to convince her father to change his mind. She gives him a look of acceptance before taking her position behind her sister.

Courtney holds the bouquet precisely down the aisle. Steven smirks wondrously at his girlfriend lovingly; She takes the lead on the left hand side.

Then finally, Tricia makes her way. She feels the eyes of the guests whom she has mostly known from her years being a flight attendant. She keeps focusing on Sean, whom she sees grinning at her., reaching her designation underneath the arch. She finds herself grinning at Sean. Typically she would've thought of it as a sign of weakness, but on this day, being overly happy is allowed.
The officiant of the ceremony gets started. "Will you Sean Lockhart take Tricia Meyer to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do,"

Noticing Tanner is attentive towards the vows. Jordan clears her throat slightly. On cue, Tommy turns around, and without realizing she passes something to him. He decides to look down in his hand what she had given him.
A key card to her hotel room,

He is about to turn back to her, but Tanner gazes at him endearingly. Unaware of what just happened.
Behind him, Jordan is impressed at herself for that maneuver. And if she knows him, he must be in need of her company.
"Friends and Family I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart," the justice of the peace declares.
Rounds of applause and throwing rose petals at the newly married couple.
