Despite being born and raised in Radcliffe, Kentucky until she was four. Emma Covington had to depend on the Google Maps app on her iPhone. So a twenty-five-minute venture brings her here to the dairy farm. She gets out of the vintage Mercedes Benz convertible. She is well aware she is out of place due to her wardrobe which consists of a sleeveless multicolor maxi dress with periwinkle sandals. She climbs up the porch steps to the front door. Emma is about to press the doorbell when she sees the exact individual she came to see walking towards the house.

"Aren't you lost?" he teases her. 

 

She stands there until he gets closer to her. 

 

"Ha, ha, very funny, Emma pinches her nose. "You smell like unwashed animals and manual labor." 

 

Will shakes his head at the spoiled rich girl routine. "It's called hard work," 

 

"If that's hard work, then I'm glad I avoid it at all cost." 

 

"Emma, what are you doing here?" Will inquiries

Emma looks around the house she has heard about all of her life from her family. She finds it quite funny that her mother not only dated Peter Saunders but was best friends with his sister and considered this place a second home when her parents died too. In her mind the place it's standard with a few modern furnishings. 

 

"Wait a minute, how did you know that I was staying here?" 

 

Emma holds onto her clutch bag. "I came looking for you at The Waterfall but Antonio told me you were now calling Green Acres home."

He laughs. "It's Antoine, and yeah I couldn't stay there anymore." 

 

By the sound of his voice, Emma decides to avoid asking why he left home and his position at the bar. 

 

She clears her throat delicately. "I am starting my own business," 

 

"Uh, that's good for you, but how does that involve me?" Will gestures to himself

Will sits down onto the couch while he hears her pitch. "What are you getting at?" 

 

"Radcliffe needs a nightclub," 

 

"Again, what does that have to do with me?" 

 

"You have experience of not only running your own business, but you practically ran the bar. I need someone to manage the club, and I believe you're that person Will." 

 

Will tries to think on the offer over knowing as a former business owner how hard it is to get an operation going. "Where is the money coming from?" Cus last time I checked you said you were cut off." 

 

As the executor of her father's will, Daniel had cut her off from her trust fund due to her overspending.

"Not after I tell my brother I have a sound business plan which is a requirement to get my money back."

 

Will uses his shirt to wipe the beat of sweat from his forehead. "If a place like that. It would possibly compete with my family's bar. " 

 

"You honestly cannot tell me you're content sticking your hands in pigs rectums to help them pass their bowels for the foreseeable future."

Will is about to reply when the front door opens with SJ Saunders running as his mother Martha Saunders is behind him with a baby bag in her hand.

"Hi," the two-year-old says to Will. 

 

"Hey, little man," Will says back to him.

 

Martha is about to give a cursory greeting to their houseguest. When she sees Emma standing there curious as to why she is in her home since she doesn't know her all that well, remembering her from Daniel's 45th birthday party descending in a helicopter. 

 

"You must be Louise's sister?" 

 

"Yeah, I am," Martha replies

 

The boy runs up to the Covington heiress. "Who you?" 

 

"It's who are you, and the name is Emma, kid," 

 

Martha raises an eyebrow at the debutante correcting her child.

 

Emma turns to the farmhand. "Just keep in mind what we talked about here." 

 

As Martha has her son in her arms she watches the rich girl wave to them on her way out. "Is she desperate?"
